As a Spanish Speaking Supplemental t Teacher with the Suzuki School, you understand how impactful the first few years of a language are for a child and family. You know first-hand that helping a child embrace another language at an early age is a rewarding experience. At our schools, we nurture and guide children from 3 months to Kindergarten age; therefore, as a Spanish-speaking Supplemental Teacher, you will have the unique opportunity to provide Spanish instruction to children in the first few years in which language thrives – an incredible component of cultivating growth for each child in their education, all in pursuit of nurturing a true love of learning.

Important Notes on the Position:

  • You must be a Native Spanish Speaker!
  • This position is full time, though you will not immediately be placed in a classroom.
  • This position is for the Suzuki School’s Ponce City Market campus.
  • You must be comfortable working collaboratively with the classroom teachers, campus leadership, specialty faculty, and the Immersion Coordinator to provide children with a comprehensive and interactive curriculum;
  • You must have reliable transportation;
  • You must be able to commit to a full school year (July-May);
  • You must be able to teach Spanish in a dual language immersion classroom, working collaboratively with the classroom teaching team.
  • You must be comfortable working with a variety of ages until you are placed full-time in one classroom.

More about the Spanish Speaking Enrichment Teacher position:

  • Credentials: Native Speaker; an Associate’s Degree or higher with training in the area of expertise.
  • School Calendar: We are a year-round school program, open 12 months out of the year.
  • Work hours: We are a full-day preschool and are open from 7am-6pm each day. Spanish Enrichment Teachers typically work from 8:00-5:00pm, 8:30-5:30, or 9:00-6:00pm.
